Power restored to 4,000 customers affected by outage in Punchbowl area

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - UPDATE at 5:20 a.m.:
HECO officials say power was restored at about 5:20 a.m. The outage was caused by a tree branch that came into contact with a power line.

Crews with the Hawaiian Electric Company are working to restore power to 4,000 customers being affected by an outage in the Punchbowl-Nuuanu area.

The outage was first reported just after 4:30 a.m. Officials are not yet sure what caused the outage.
