Flash flood watch for Big Island extended until noon

HILO, BIG ISLAND (HawaiiNewsNow) - The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a flash flood watch for the Big Island until 12 p.m. on Wednesday.

  • Persistent deep moisture near the Big Island will continue to be enhanced as an upper-level low remains near the island.
  • The potential for flooding rains to develop is high.
