HALAWA (HawaiiNewsNow) - For football fans heading to the Pro Bowl at Aloha Stadium today, you are advised to pack lightly.
The National Football League adopted a new bag policy at all of its games this season.
Fans are being strongly encouraged to bring all of their items in a clear bag with dimensions 12" x 6" x 12". Or if it's easier, the NFL recommends you put your items in a gallon-sized freezer bag. One's necessary medical items, however, will be allowed into the stadium.
"We feel that there is an opportunity through our clear bag policy to improve the time it takes to get through security while enhancing the security of our guests, employees and our players once they arrive at the stadiums," Lenny Bandy of NFL Security, said.
If you are unable to make it down to Aloha Stadium for the game, tune in to KHNL at 2:30 p.m.
