LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A Louisville mother was arrested after she became irate at school officials for calling Child Protective Services.

According to an arrest report, Louisville Metro Police officers were called to Wheatley Elementary School on Thursday around 4:00. School officials said Tamika Sweet, 26, was angry and possibly intoxicated while fighting with staff in the school cafeteria.

Sweet told school officials that she was mad at them for contacting CPS when her 6-year-old son took prescription pills to school earlier in the week. The school principal and security guard told police that Sweet began causing alarm to the parents standing in the school lobby.

When asked to leave, she apparently began fighting with security, sticking him in the chest with her fists. Officers arrived and said Sweet smelled strongly like alcohol.

As Sweet was arrested, she allegedly began yelling that she was going to kill school officials, the police officers present and their families. She kept going and said she was going to blow up the arresting officer's ‘Mammie.'

Sweet then referred to herself as a ‘boss a** b***h' who ‘wasn't to be f****d with.'

Officers said she continued to be belligerent the entire trip to jail, as well as while in the holding area.

Sweet is being charged with third degree assault (school employee or school volunteer), terroristic threatening, disorderly conduct and alcohol intoxication in a public place.
