CAIRO (CNN) – Multiple bombings have left at least five dead in violence-plagued Egypt.
A car bomb hit an Egyptian police headquarters on Friday in the heart of the city, reports say.
The blast shook and damaged nearby buildings, and ambulances rushed to the scene that quickly became crowded with hundreds of people.
Damage to the building was evident with windows blown out and rocks and pieces of debris strewn in the blast area.
Two other blasts followed, taking the life of at least one other person, reports say.
