Two dogs found dead

Two German shepherds found dead. Two German shepherds found dead.

Two dogs are dead. One discovered with it's head decapitated.

The Cleveland Animal Protective League needs your help to uncover the details of their deaths.

On Jan. 20, the canines were discovered by the railroad tracks at East 26th Street and Lakeside.

The Cleveland APL believes the dogs died about one week before their bodies were discovered of blunt force trauma to the head and were kept cold until their bodies were dumped Sunday, Jan. 19.

They also believe someone cut the head off of the one dog after it died.

Both showed signs they were well-fed and appear to have been pets.

Anyone with information about this incident or who the owner or owners may be should call the Cleveland Humane Investigations hotline 216-377-1630.
