New, organized search planned for missing Maui woman

WAILUKU, MAUI (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Moreira Monsalve's family and friends have been doing their own searches to find the Maui mother of the three.  But Saturday, they are hoping a more coordinated search effort will yield results.

Monsalve, or 'Mo' as she is called has been missing since Sunday.  She was last seen by her ex-boyfriend Bernard Brown.  Brown has been questioned and is not listed as a suspect.  And on social media, Brown has defended himself.  He even told Hawaii News Now that he had nothing to do with Mo's disappearance.

Flyers and police alerts are posted all over the Wailuku area, especially Lower Main, where restaurants and bars that 'Mo' frequented are located.

Her Coach purse was found in a dumpster at a Wailuku park Thursday.

Saturday, people on dirt bikes and on foot will search for her. The meeting place has not been disclosed but if anyone would like to help, send a message to the Facebook Page, Mowatch missing person Moreira Monsalve.
