Police are searching for the suspect in a home invasion that happened Thursday night.
A woman was going into her front door on the 2000 block of Oak Court around 11 p.m. when she says a man armed with a handgun ran up behind her and forced her inside.
Police say he took the 23-year-old woman's purse and ran toward Eastland Avenue.
The man was wearing a dark hoodie, gloves and a bandana over his face.
The woman was not injured in the incident.
The investigation into the home invasion is ongoing.
