MILILANI, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The driver in a single-car crash on Ka Uka Boulevard on Thursday is in critical condition, according to emergency responders.
The man, in his 20s, was taken to the Queen's Medical Center after striking a drainage ditch and flipping over near the Ka Uka Boulevard northbound off-ramp around 7:30 p.m.
Another victim, a female in her 20s, is hospitalized with minor injuries, officials said.
Both the driver and his passenger were wearing seatbelts at the time, but speed may be a factor, according to Honolulu police.
Police closed Ka Uka Boulevard from the H-2 freeway in the northbound direction Thursday evening as they investigated.
