HI Achievers: Kaycee Beardeaux

(Hawaii News Now) - Our HI Achiever, Kaycee Beardeaux, started playing instruments when she was 7 years old and now she performs in the Hawaii Youth Symphony's Concert Orchestra. She plays music (both the piano and viola) from her heart, and she has a heart for helping animals in need of a home. Since she was ten years old, she has been volunteering at the Hawaiian Humane Society. On top of that, she is not only compassionate about animals, but she believes in giving others a voice who may not always be heard by volunteering at Aikea (an organization that makes sure hotel workers are treated fair). Kaycee puts others first, she gives TLC to animals in need, she puts her emotions in every song she plays for others, and that is why she is our HI Achiever.

Do you know a HI Achiever like Kaycee?? If so‚Ķmake sure to NOMINATE him or her to be featured on Hawaii News Now. Your awesome student and young community leader may have a chance to receive $200 and a complimentary financial education training class in Hawaii USA's Life Events Assistance Program (LEAP).
