Queen's seeking workers to staff Downtown and West Oahu locations

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Queen's Medical Center is looking to fill hundreds of positions, mainly at its Punchbowl location.

They will be hiring people for a variety of positions, everything from staff nurses to food service and housekeeping as well as clerical jobs.

The Queen's Health Systems has scheduled a job fair on Saturday, January 25, 2014 between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at the Manoa Elementary School cafeteria at 3155 Manoa Road.

Queen's primary focus is to find candidates to fill positions on its Punchbowl campus, most recently as a result of backfill needs due to employees transferring to West Oahu, but also due to normal attrition and new positions. While the focus is to fill positions on the Punchbowl campus, applications will be accepted for all open positions.

Queen's seeks workers for positions such as Staff Nurse (OR, ED, ICU, Telemetry), Finance/IT (Analyst), Case Manager, ER Tech, Social Worker, SP Instrument Tech, Respiratory Therapist, Coder, Service positions (food service, housekeeping), and Clerical positions (PSR; A/P Clerk, Biller, Admin Secretary). These will include full-time, part-time and call-in positions.

Applicants can also visit www.queens.org for more information, including job postings, and to apply online.  Whether applicants apply online or not, they should bring a resume with them if attending the job fair.
