WAIPAHU, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police have opened a homicide investigation after 42-year-old man was found stabbed on Kahuanani Street, officials said.
The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to Pali Momi Medical Center in extremely critical condition after police arrived on scene around 9:45 p.m. on Sunday. He later died, police said.
The man had apparently been involved in an argument with two other men when one of the suspects "inflicted a life-threatening injury" on the victim, police said. Both suspects fled the scene on foot.
No arrests have been made yet, and police are not releasing any further details regarding who was involved or the cause of the stabbing.
