Local filmmaker tells story of Cambodian Genocide survivor

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A local director and cinematographer is working on a documentary that aims to tell a compelling story of a survivor of the Cambodian Genocide, or Khmer Rouge, and how she goes on to save traumatized women and orphaned children. Jeff DePonte joined us on "Sunrise" to tell us more about his documentary "Out of the Dark."
