Kahuhipa Street re-opened after woman ejected off motorcycle

UPDATE 1:05p.m.: A 27-year-old female is in critical condition after she was allegedly ejected off of her motorcycle on Kahuhipa Street in Kaneohe.

According to District Chief Colin Wong, the accident occurred shortly after 11a.m. Saturday. The reported un-helmeted woman was ejected from her motorcycle, side swiping a parked vehicle.

The woman was treated by EMS Paramedics, and transported to the trauma center in critical condition.

UPDATE 1:12p.m.: Honolulu Police have re-opened Kahuhipa Street in Kaneohe.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Honolulu Police have closed Kahuhipa Street in both directions at Kumoo Loop near Windward Community College after a motor vehicle collision.

Traffic is being rerouted onto Kumoo Loop. It is unknown how long the road will be shutdown as police investigate.
