PUNA, Hawaii (AP) - Police on the Big Island say a 28-year-old woman has been arrested after an explosion at a house found containing a marijuana growing operation.
Hawaii County police said Tuesday that Savannah Maloof of Keaau was arrested Monday after the explosion last week blew out windows, melted plumbing and sent a 30-year-old man to the hospital.
Police say they found 102 marijuana plants and an indoor growing operation. Authorities say they also found butane honey oil, a marijuana byproduct, and equipment associated with manufacturing the oil.
Maloof is accused of promotion of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
