HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - With the help of two defensive touchdowns in the first half, Oregon State showed no problem dealing with Boise State's high-powered offense as it defeated the Broncos, 38-23, in the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl Thursday at Aloha Stadium.
Beavers cornerback Rashaad Reynolds returned two fumbles for scores and running back Storm Woods rushed for 107 yards as OSU ended the year at 7-6 and snapped BSU's run of four straight bowl victories.
Although the bowl didn't feature the University of Hawaii, a number of local players managed to put together a solid homecoming on both teams.
Punahou alum and Broncos starting safety Jeremy Ioane led the team with 10 tackles. Hilo grad and OSU defensive end Devon Kell added four tackles, including a sack.
