KIHEI, MAUI (HawaiiNewsNow) -

All members of a boat that capsized off the Kihei returned to shore safely except for one: Tucker, the captain's mixed-breed dog.

Tucker was last seen on the 18-foot vessel, about 20 yards offshore of the Kihei boat ramp, right before it capsized Saturday, according to Matt Reigle, his owner and the boat's captain.

Tucker – a Pitbull, Rottweiler, Shepherd mix – has a golden coat and weighs about 50 pounds. He was adopted in March from the Maui Humane Society and his birthday was supposed to be on Christmas Day.

If you have any information, call the Maui Humane Society at 808-877-3680.
