The teenage girl who was shot at Arapahoe High School in Colorado earlier this month has died.
According to the Littleton Adventist Hospital in suburban Denver, 17-year-old Claire Davis passed away Saturday afternoon with her family by her side.
The hospital posted a statement on its Facebook page, saying Davis' injuries were too severe, and the most advanced medical treatments could not prevent this tragic loss of life.
The statement included a note of thanks from the Davis family for everyone's wishes and prayers. It also stated a public celebration of Claire's life will be announced at a future date.
