Albany native Kaleb Driggers put on a show for the thousands of fans at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo Friday night.
Driggers and Travis Graves competed in the team roper finals, and had the highlight of the event.
Driggers and Graves roped a calf in a stunning 3.6 seconds, the fastest time of the week.
"I thought we could win the round, but I didn't think we could be 3.6," said Graves, from Jay, Okla. "Things have got to be perfect for that."
"There's no thinking involved with that," says Driggers. "It just all falls into place."
The time earned both a cool $18,630 for the round win, but the duo fell just short of the world championship.
