MARSHALL, TX (KLTV) -
Authorities responded to a shooting early Sunday morning just outside of Charlie's Backyard Bar & Grill in Marshall.
The call came in around 2 a.m. to Marshall Police. While details are limited at this time, Marshall Police tell us that one person was transported to a local hospital following an aggravated assault. This bar is located in the 300 block of N. Columbus street in Marshall.
Employees of the establishment said that one person was shot just around the corner from the building.
It is not yet clear who was shot or who is suspected of pulling the trigger, but employees said that the victim is listed in stable condition Sunday afternoon.
Marshall Police say the Texas Rangers are heading this investigation.
