The state judiciary says Lloyd Poelman will be sworn in Friday as a state district court judge of the Second Circuit. Hawaii Supreme Court Chief Justice Mark Recktenwald will administer Poelman's oath. Poelman was nominated by Recktenwald and confirmed by the state Senate. He will serve a term of six years.
