Cleveland police are currently investigating an armed robbery at Bonkers Bar on Denison Avenue.

It happened around 1 a.m. on Tuesday, December 4 at the Denison Avenue bar.

The preliminary investigation reveals that a suspect entered the bar brandishing a black pistol.  He was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt which covered his face, jeans and black Nike shoes.

The suspect pointed his weapon in the direction of the bar and demanded money from the bartender. He did fire two shots during the course of the robbery, into walls. The bartender placed a sum of money into a bag, which the suspect then took and fled in an unknown direction.
