HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Here's a precious way to kick off the holiday season.. support a wish being granted by Make-A-Wish Hawaii.

Precious, a 14 year-old girl from Pearl City, wishes for a motorized wheelchair to bring her the independence all teenagers crave.  In celebration of Macy's National Believe Day, Make-A-Wish Hawaii will grant her wish live at Ala Moana Center on Friday.

You are invited to come out and support Precious as she debuts her wheelchair in a parade fit for a princess. The parade starts at 4:00pm and will make its way through the mall as Precious heads to Macy's to deliver her Believe letter. She will then be crowned Ms. Believe Hawaii.

During Macy's fifth annual "Believe" campaign, the retailer is donating $1 to Make-A-Wish for every letter to Santa received. There will also be a live letter delivery by local Hawaii wish kids who have been working to collect hundreds of letters.
