HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department need the public's help locating a man who is wanted for sexual assault in the first degree.

On December 1 at approximately11:30 a.m., an unknown male forced his way into the victim's apartment located on Cedar Street in the Makaloa area and sexually assaulted her.

The same suspect is believed to have also committed two other sex assaults.  The first in May, on Ahana street.  Police say he forced his way into the woman's apartment about 10:30 in the morning.  He hit her,  then raped her.

And two weeks later, on June 13, there was another attack.  This one on A'ala Street.  The man broke into the apartment through the sliding glass door.

All the attacks are in the Liliha and Makaloa area.  Police have increased patrols and every officer working that part of town has the composite sketches.  HPD also formed a task force of detectives to focus on finding the man.

The suspect is described as Polynesian, around 6' tall and weighing around 200 lbs.  He has short black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300, or *CRIME on your cellular phone.
