(Hawaii News Now) - Anchorman 2's Ron Burgundy is leaving sunny San Diego for snow-blown Winnipeg to call a pro curling event for Canadian sports channel TSN. Burgundy, or Will Ferrell in character, will join TSN's Vic Rauter in Winnipeg, Manitoba on December 1 to offer color commentary during the Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings Tournament. Ron will also guest-host the 6 PM SportsCenter on Thursday, December 5, says a person with knowledge of the situation. Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues hits theaters December 20.

Bruno Mars and other singers are doing their part to help those affected by Typhoon Haiyan. The local boy is one of dozens of artists -- contributing to a relief album called "Songs for the Philippines." A total of 39 songs are on the album --which is already on sale on i-Tunes. All proceeds will be donated to the Philippines Red Cross.

Also, helping out with the relief efforts for the Philippines last night at the Blaisdell, were some of the top names in the culinary industry.  Chef Chai put together a benefit to aid with the relief efforts.  Hosted by our own Grace Lee along with Billy V, people were treated to some delicious creation by Roy Yamaguchi, Alan Wong and others.
