Maui man dies of injuries in moped crash

HONOLULU (AP) - Maui police say a 54-year-old Kihei man has died of injuries suffered in a moped crash last month.

Police say Nicholas Webb died last week.

Webb on Oct. 25 was driving south on South Kihei Road when crossed the center line and collided head-on with a pickup truck traveling north.

The 36-year-old truck driver from Haiku was not injured.

The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reports Webb was seriously injured and died Nov. 18.
