Local chefs and entertainers team up with the Salvation Army in the 'Chefs for Hope' fundraising event for victims of Typhoon Haiyan

A group of local chefs, entertainers, and food and beverage industry professionals are joining forces for 'Chefs for Hope', a fundraiser to help the Philippines recover from Typhoon Haiyan. The event will feature entertainment from the Brothers Cazimero, Hapa and Raiatea Helm.

Major John Chamness is here from the Salvation Army to tell us more about the event that takes place at the Blaisdell. Doors open at 5:30p.m. for VIP and reserved seating, and 6:30p.m. for general admission. Tickets are available at the Neal Blaisdell box office Monday through Saturday, between 9a.m. and 5p.m., or at Chef Chai at Pacifica.
