World-renowned skateboarder Danny Way and musicians from 'Slightly Stoopid' team up to raise money for skate parks in Hawaii

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

He has jumped the Great Wall of China and broken the land-speed record on a skateboard. Coming up, X-Games gold medalist and world-renowned skateboarder, Danny Way joins us live in studio on Sunrise. He talks about a benefit concert series he put together to raise money for skate parks in Hawaii.

The Danny Way Foundation will be hosting three benefit concerts featuring Slightly Stoopid, Barrington Levy and Makua Rothman on Friday, November 15th at The Republik on Oahu, Saturday, November 16th at Rob's Good Times Grill on Kauai, and Sunday, November 17th at Maui Arts & Cultural Center/Yokouchi Pavilion in Maui.
