Flood Advisory extended for Oahu until 8 p.m.

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a Flood Advisory for the island of Oahu in Honolulu County.

  • Until 8 p.m.

  • At 4:54 p.m., radar showed heavy rain near Kaaawa, or about 15 miles north of Honolulu. The area of heavy rain was nearly stationary.

  • Other locations in the advisory include but are not limited to Punaluu, Turtle Bay, Pupukea, Laie, Kahuku and Hauula. This advisory may need to be extended beyond 8:00 pm if Heavy Rain persists.
