UH conducting emergency notification system test

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The University of Hawaii will conduct a test of its emergency alert notification system on Tuesday.

Alerts will go out to all staff and students who have registered to receive them via email and text message.

UH sends notifications in the event of natural, civil or health-related emergencies.

Security vehicles on the Manoa campus may also test their loudspeaker systems.

The test typically happens once every semester.
