HONOLULU (AP) - Project Runway contestant Andy South is the winner of Hawaii's 2013 Governor's Fashion Award for contemporary designer.
Kealopiko is the winner of the aloha designer category.
The awards were announced Wednesday at the end of Hawaii Fashion Month.
The formal designer award is being given to Anne Namba Designs.
Fighting Eel is the Established Designer of the Year, while children's clothing designer Coadorables is being named Emerging Designer of the Year.
Gov. Neil Abercrombie says the awards provide opportunities to showcase the islands as an international fashion destination.
