Victorino expected to play in game 6 of World Series

BOSTON (HawaiiNewsNow) - Shane Victorino will return to Boston's starting lineup for game six of the World Series according to Red Sox Manager John Farrell.

The St. Anthony grad has missed Boston's last two games with tightness in his lower back and was available to play in game five as a pinch-runner or for defensive purposes.

"We fully expect him to be full go tomorrow," Farrell said Tuesday afternoon prior to his team's final workout of the year. Victorino is yet to find his swing in the series, he's hitless in 10 at bats.

Victorino received a double-dose of good news, also winning the fourth gold glove of his career and first with the Red Sox.

First pitch for Game six is set for 2pm Hawaii time.
