(Hawaii News Now) - Only half of American children get the recommended amount of exercise, so it's more important than ever to take action and encourage kids to get out and get moving. That's why Quaker Oats is proud to partner with Fuel Up to Play 60, the nation's largest in-school wellness program, to launch the Make Your Move Video Contest.
In honor of National Oatmeal Day and his commitment to nourishing healthy families, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck, is encouraging kids and schools to get active as part of a healthy lifestyle. Starting today, Quaker and Fuel Up to Play 60 are inviting parents and teachers to enter the Make Your Move Video Contest by submitting a video of their kids that demonstrates how they get active for 60 minutes.
Winning schools will be awarded one of five $15,000 school grants or one of ten $2,500 school grants. Quaker is also donating an additional $25,000 to support Fuel Up to Play 60 schools to help fuel health and wellness in school for a total donation of $125,000.
