Power restored to Kuliouou residents after vehicle crash

KULIOUOU, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Electricity has been restored to some 600 customers in Kuliouou after a motor vehicle crash cut off power early Saturday morning.

A Hawaiian Electric Company spokesperson said a car hit a pole, which then affected three other poles at approximately 3:30 a.m. Officials say there were 1,000 customers originally affected, but were able to restore power to 400 customers.
