HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The United States Marine accused of killing a female escort in Waikiki in May will be court-martialed on murder charges, according to a spokesperson with the U.S. Marine Corps.
Marine Master Sgt. Nathaniel Cosby is charged with murdering Ivanice Harris, a visitor to Hawaii. Harris, a Las Vegas prostitute, was in Hawaii to celebrate her birthday.
Hotel surveillance video shows the pair entering an elevator in the Aston Waikiki hotel on May 16. Cosby is seen leaving the hotel with a large duffel bag two hours later.
Harris's body was found near Yokohama Bay.
An arraignment hearing is scheduled for Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the Law Center aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii.
