Former UH quarterback Colt Brennan signs AFL deal

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Former University of Hawaii quarterback Colt Brennan has signed a letter of intent to play in the Arena Football League, according to an image posted to Brennan's Instagram account.

"I'm a man of my word... Back to the game!" Brennan wrote as the caption of the photo. "Got a couple weeks to let it sink in, then time to train and get ready!"

Brennan has been out of professional football since June of 2012, when he was released by the Canadian Football League's Saskatchewan Roughriders.

At this time, it is unclear which AFL team Brennan intends to play for.
