(HawaiiNewsNow) - Even though Halloween is usually associated with candy and other sweet treats, it can also be a chance to educate kids on how to keep healthy. The Institute for Human Services will hold its 2013 Healthy Halloween Fair on Saturday to give people a chance to learn about health while having fun. This foot-themed fundraising event will support I.H.S. and GreenFleet Hawaii to help families at risk and wellness programs that support healthy lifestyles in Hawaii.
Connie Mitchell, executive director for I.H.S., and a giant foot named Toe-ny, join us to give us more information about the event. Chaotic Five, one of the groups to perform at the fair, also gives a preview of their performance.
