(HawaiiNewsNow) - Some say yoga can be good for your soul and your well being, and this Saturday if you're a yogi, this may be the event for you. A big yoga festival is taking over the Modern Honolulu Sunset Pool Deck, and it's purpose is about empowerment and taking a stand against depression, bullying and teen suicide.
Jen Robbins got in a yoga stance for the cause to preview "Poses EmPower," a day-long event filled with yoga classes by Hawaii's top instructors. Each class will be entertained with live music, including performances by musicians John Cruz and Ashley Lilinoe.
Lehua Kai of Power Yoga Hawaii Owner, instructor and founder of POSES emPOWER, showed Jen a few moves and shared her personal story about the cause of this yoga festival.
