(HawaiiNewsNow) - Erupting volcanos, powerful tsunamis and undersea exploration are among the 85 exhibits guests can explore at the University of Hawaii at Manoa campus this weekend. On Friday, Oct. 25, the UH School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology will open its doors to more than 5,000 people expected to attend the event. They will enjoy presentations, hands-on activities, visit state-of-the-art laboratories and hear about cutting-edge research by real-life scientists themselves.
Marcie Grabowski, outreach coordinator for SOEST, joins us to give more information about what people can expect.
