Mid-Pacific Senior Adam Simon directed a surf 'Mockumentary' that is being shown at the Hawaii International Film Festival. The film, 'FOLIAGE: Roots of the Tree Barrel', shows surfers on their skateboards coasting down sidewalks, imagining tree limbs as barrels.
Adam has been directing, editing producing throughout his years at Mid-Pacific. He is in his fourth year in Studio TV class, and is currently Chief Editor. He has solo-hosted PBS Hawaii's Hiki No shows and has overseen production of many Hiki No stories.
The movie will screen at 10:30am on October 19th at the Regal at Dole Cannery.
