After scoring a crucial game-tying goal near the end of regulation, the Rainbow Wahine soccer team couldn't carry the momentum into double overtime as the Cal Poly Mustangs defeated Hawaii, 3-2, Sunday at Waipio Peninsula Soccer Stadium.
With UH down 2-1, freshman phenom Kama Pascua hit a goal to tie the game with 1:20 left in regulation. But in the second overtime period, Cal Poly's Elise Krieghoff pulled away to hit the game-winner.
Hawaii falls to 6-7 on the season and 1-3 in the Big West.
Uh's next match is Thursday at UC-Davis.
