(HawaiiNewsNow) - Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center (WCCHC) has provided a unique, integrated model of health care delivery that addresses not only an individual's health care needs but that of family and the community, since operation in 1972.
WCCHC believes that providing quality and accessible healthcare is just the beginning and that job training, economic development and cultural proficiency are also vital to the health of a community.
The Health Center never turns anyone away and it is a safety net for uninsured, medically underserved patients, serving 31,000 patients annually through five clinic sites located on the Waianae Coast, and in Kapolei and Waipahu.
Services range from primary care to a 24-hr emergency room -- including laboratory and radiology -- to community health outreach, a fitness center, preventive health services, adult day care, transportation, pharmacy, specialty services, behavioral health, health career training and more.
