HONOLULU (AP) - Hawaii lawmakers plan to question public and private officials at the Capitol on why the state has gotten off to a slow start on implementing President Barack Obama's federal health care overhaul.

Representatives of three Senate and three House committees were expected to conduct an all-day hearing on Wednesday, one week after open enrollment began at the start of October.

Hawaii's insurance exchange hasn't been able to sell any insurance because of problems with the website at the heart of the marketplace. Consumers can't see plans, even though a variety of options from two insurers have been approved to be sold.

Hawaii Health Connector Executive Director Coral Andrews is expected to testify. The state's insurance commissioner and Gov. Neil Abercrombie's Affordable Care Act implementation manager are also due to speak.
