Medical examiner identifies man in Haleiwa harbor

HONOLULU (AP) - The Hawaii medical examiner's office says a surfer found dead in Haleiwa Boat Harbor was a man from Waialua.

The office says 45-year-old Jonathan Collins died.

Honolulu County Emergency Medical Services says Collins' body was found at 10:43 p.m. Sunday.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reports Collins previously had been reported missing while surfing.
