HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Family and friends of Kiowa Gatewood have launched an online fundraiser to help cover his medical expenses after a shark attacked him on July 29th.

He fought off a tiger shark after it bit his leg at White Plains Beach in Ewa. They've even designed T-shirts and bumper stickers that say "Shark Attacks Kiowa, Kiowa Attacks Shark."

The goal is to raise $20,000 to help cover medical expenses.
