Wyland Galleries art auction to benefit project

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

The entire Bill Wyland Galleries collection will be up for auction this Sunday, September 29, 10am at Aloha Tower Marketplace.

More than 5 million dollars in art will be liquidated at little to no reserves. Many art pieces from Wyland, paintings by Luigi Fumagalli, Jim Warren, Jose Nadeau, Wilfredo Garcia, Robert Watson, Philip Rote, Herb Fichter and many more.

The auction will also include a music collection of memorabilia from Pipeline Café. Drum covers signed by rock n roll bands that played in Hawaii from the early 80's, signed records, a Prince Guitar, 4 foot mirror balls, Do Ho signage and cups, neon signs and leather furniture.

The music collection is one of the largest in the state from one of Hawaii's top promoters. All auction items will go to the highest bidder.

The auction proceeds will benefit the Zuly Sanguino project.  Zuly is an artist, a young woman, who overcame extreme poverty, and abuse to become a motivational speaker and world-renowned artist, despite being born without arms and legs.  www.plansea.org hopes to bring her to Hawaii to swim with the dolphins and document her triumphant story.
