(HawaiiNewsNow) - The group Aloha Plate -- made up of brothers Lanai and Adam Tabura and their friend Shawn Felipe -- are representing Hawaii on the Food Network's "Great Food Truck Race." Cooking up classic dishes such as loco moco and poke, the group hopes to make island fans out of everyone who tries their food. The show -- which features more than 4,000 miles of breakdowns, obstacles and challenges -- airs on Sundays and the season finale is set to take place September 29 with competitors vying to take home the grand prize of $50,000.
Aloha Plate came in to the "Sunrise" studio to discuss some of their experiences throughout the season.
