LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Will the rain ever stop?

It's rained on and off for the past 30 days in southern Nevada, a rarity, as well as a real headache for those dealing with flood damage.

Wednesday brought another storm and flooding in the east part of town. It was enough to strand a few motorists.

Drivers braved flooded streets Wednesday, taking their chances passing through pools of water at Mountain Vista and Tropicana, among other intersections.

Nearby, the parking lot of the Circle K convenience store was completely flooded.

"We were driving through the intersection over there and got stuck in the middle because of the flood," driver Marcus Pier said.

Pier made the mistake of thinking his vehicle would get through a flooded intersection.

"We were driving through the intersection, and we got about halfway through it. The water was up to the windows, and then the car shut off," he said.

Pier opted to take a bus to his destination. Others walked through flooded streets.
