KALIHI, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Sheriffs from the Department of Public Safety brought back a prison inmate after officials say he was released accidentally by OCCC.
According to officials, OCCC inmate Edward Robins, 51, was mistakenly released early at about 4:55 p.m. Friday. He was supposed to be released on September 13th.
Honolulu Police and State Sheriffs were notified.
Edward Robins is a sentenced misdemeanant. He was behind bars serving time for third degree assault.
