Convicted OH sex offender arrested in FL after not registering address

PERRYSBURG, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Officials caught a convicted Ohio sex offender in Florida Wednesday, after receiving helpful tips from the public.

Raymond "Butch" Fenton was wanted by the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force. A felony warrant was issued for his arrest July 15 for a probation violation of failing to register his address.

Records show Fenton was released from prison in 2003 after serving time for raping a juvenile.

U.S. Marshals arrested Fenton in Brandon, FL outside of Tampa. He is waiting to be extradited back to Ohio.
